A shrub is a drinking vinegar made with fruit, vinegar, sugar and spice. An Old Fashioned way of preserving cold pressed fruit juice that brings intense flavours to cocktails and sparkling beverages.  This is a live vinegar and has the health properties of apple cider vinegar complemented by fun flavours.

Mojo Jojo Pickles was started in 2011 as a commercial venture of a Slow Food Edmonton Canning Bee project and has since evolved and expanded to include many creative acidified and spirited preserved foods from pickles to ketchup,  jelly, relish and shrubs.  Johwanna made the switch to full-time pickling in 2011.  Having lived through the digital age of photography,  using her creativity to make and share real things was a return to her creative roots.
