Harvested in Extremadura, Spain

From a protected area and single fabrica, only Extremadura, Spain has been granted the Designation of Protected Origin for the uniqueness and historical tradition of pimentón de la vera. To receive the DOP status, the entire product must be traditionally and entirely manufactured (prepared, processed and produced) within the specific region and thus acquire unique properties. This differentiates the paprika from many others.


Sweet, peppers dried over oak coals creates a hardwood smokiness coupled with a subtle summery sweetness. The hot, dry region of western Spain can be tasted in this paprika. Amazing complement to your dry rub seasoning, Spanish inspired dishes or as a popcorn topper.
